Lincoln Hospital, part of the MaineHealth system, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP)to join our General Surgery team in beautiful Damariscotta, Maine. Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative and postoperative care to General Surgery patients.
• Assist in surgical procedures as needed, ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic medical records.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Active Maine NP or PA License and DEA certification.
  • ACLS and PALS preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience as an NP/PA in General Surgery.

• Skills:

  • Strong clinical acumen and commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and effective communication skills.
